DIAMOND COATING For conveyor drum and pulley

Universal lagging for a multitude of drums

Diamond lagging can be used on bend pulley and take up pulley, but is mainly intended for head pulleys.

Applied using a cold bonding process, its symmetrical pattern offers excellent adhesion to the conveyor belt.

The diamond lagging for conveyor drums is 8 to 15 mm thick.

Different types of diamond lagging for different applications

Several product qualities are available for this type of profile:

  • Standard anti-abrasive: offers excellent resistance to wear over time.
  • Black “anti-fat” nitrile rubber: reserved for applications in contact with vegetable, mineral and animal oils.
  • ISO 284/340 specific rubber: this type of rubber has antistatic and self-extinguishing properties. This standard meets ATEX zone criteria.
  • White nitrile: for applications requiring compliance with FDA and EU 1935/2004 food standards.
  • Hot vulcanization: different types of diamond rubber can be supplied, such as blue nitrile (NBR) laggings.

Slide Lag

For high tensile forces

Its elastomer composition gives head or drive drums high tensile strength.

rubber drum lining pulley bars

Pulley bars

Anti-skid lagging for large drums

Ruggedly designed, the anti-skid bars are made of wear-resistant rubber for long life.

griplag drum lining

Griplag

For tough conditions

The Griplag prevents slippage and is self-cleaning, preventing material build-up and misalignment.

VARIOUS FILLINGS AND PREPARATIONS

hot vulcanization packing

Hot vulcanization

Vulcanization is a chemical process that gives the drum greater tensile strength, swelling, abrasion resistance and elasticity.

cold rubberized filling

Cold rubberizing

Cold rubber bonding is generally used on "classic" drums for rubber coatings with smooth, diamond-shaped ceramic inserts.

special rubberized lining

SPECIAL RUBBERIZING

Coatings such as Slide Lag, Pulleybars or Griplag are applied to drums and pulleys by mechanical assembly.

shot blasting

Shot-blasting

All coated drums are shot-blasted for improved surface preparation. This preliminary work is essential for optimum adhesion to the drum.
