LARGE INDUSTRIAL PULLEYS
For bulk transport in the mining and quarrying sector, ALTEMA designs and manufactures pulleys with diameters up to 1,300mm.
ALTEMA is a custom manufacturer of large-diameter pulleys and supplies a wide range of heavy-duty pulleys for various industries: agriculture, ports, shipping, construction, mining. Each large industrial pulley requires a different approach. The manufacturing process differs from conventional pulleys in order to handle these specific dimensions and tooling.
ALTEMA is equipped with large lathes for machining pulleys up to 1300mm in diameter. The workshops are also equipped with heavy-duty overhead cranes for handling these large pulleys. We can machine shafts up to 300 mm in diameter and Ø260 mm at bearing level. ALTEMA also has the tools and know-how to apply laggings to large pulleys by manual gluing.
